CANCELLATION POLICY

1. CANCELLATION DEADLINES AND REFUNDS
Maple Badminton Center has the following cancellation policy based on how far in advance you cancel:
Cancellation Tiers:
- 7+ days before booking: 100% refund or 100% account credit
- 2-6 days before booking: 50% refund or 100% account credit
- 24+ hours before booking: 0% refund or 50% account credit
- Less than 24 hours: No refund or credit available
Note: Your actual refund/credit percentage will be determined by when you cancel relative to your booking time.
2. CANCELLATION PROCESS
To cancel a reservation:
- Log in to your account and access your bookings
- Select the reservation you wish to cancel
- Click the "Cancel" button and confirm your cancellation
- Choose whether you prefer a refund or account credit (when applicable)
- You may also contact us directly via email or phone
3. REFUND PROCESSING
3.1 Refund Methods
- Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original booking
- Processing time may take 5-10 business days depending on your payment provider
- Credit card refunds may appear on your statement within 1-2 billing cycles
3.2 Account Credits
- Account credits can be selected as an alternative to refunds
- In some cases, account credits may offer a higher percentage than refunds
- Account credits do not expire and can be used for future bookings
- Credits are applied to your account immediately upon cancellation
4. NO-SHOW POLICY
- If you fail to show up for your reservation without canceling in advance, no refund or credit will be issued (0% refund, 0% credit)
- Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on future bookings
- We reserve the right to require deposits or prepayment for members with a history of no-shows
5. GRACE PERIOD
- A minimum advance notice period may apply before cancellations are allowed
- Late cancellations within the grace period may not be eligible for any refund or credit
- Check your booking confirmation for specific grace period details
6. FACILITY-INITIATED CANCELLATIONS
If we need to cancel your reservation due to:
- Facility maintenance or repairs
- Weather conditions (for outdoor facilities)
- Equipment failure
- Other unforeseen circumstances
You will receive a 100% refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
7. EMERGENCY SITUATIONS
In case of personal emergencies or medical situations, please contact us as soon as possible. We will review each case individually and may make exceptions to our standard cancellation policy at our discretion.
8. GROUP BOOKINGS AND EVENTS
Special cancellation terms may apply to group bookings, tournaments, events, or special packages. These terms will be clearly stated at the time of booking and may differ from our standard policy.
9. MODIFICATIONS TO POLICY
We reserve the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will apply to all new bookings made after the effective date. Existing bookings will be subject to the policy in effect at the time of booking.
10. POLICY ENFORCEMENT
- This policy applies to all bookings made through our system
- Administrators reserve the right to override these policies in exceptional circumstances
- Members must agree to this cancellation policy when making bookings
